Overview

Product overview

Calibrex™ sits on the reagent bottle: robust dispensers with chemical resistance specified by plunger, not by a generic PTFE claim. universal 520 handles 0.25–10 mL on a wide range of bottles and flasks, single-hand volume, calibration under the cap, no tool to disassemble, autoclave at 121 °C fully assembled. organo 525 uses a ground glass or ceramic plunger for organics and non-crystallising acids and bases. solutae 530 adds a PFA-coated plunger so salts, strong acids, and bases do not seize the piston. Together 525/530 cover 0.1–100 mL. A QR code on the instrument opens Socorex’s chemical compatibility chart. Two-year warranty.

Al-Shaker specifies 520 versus 525 versus 530 to the liquid, not to a catalogue photo, then installs the bottle-neck adapters and supports the dispenser. Extension tubing, stands, and reagent bottles are available as accessories.

Features

Key features

  • 01

QR code to the compatibility chart

The instrument points at the liquid list instead of a laminated card that left the bench last year.

  • 02

    Autoclave assembled, no tools

121 °C as a unit; disassemble by hand when the seal finally needs a seat.

  • 03

    solutae when salts crystallise

PFA-coated plunger on the 530 so the piston still moves after a chloride or a base.
