Overview

Product overview

Stepper™ 416 is Socorex’s compact repeater for serial dispensing: 10–5000 µL, 53 volumes, up to 73 doses per filling, with a trigger that uses four fingers instead of the thumb. Three Ecostep™ positive-displacement syringes (yellow / blue / red) and matching selector knobs stop a volume mismatch. A self-locking stop refuses a dose if the syringe does not hold enough liquid. Shock-resistant compact housing limits internal contamination. Ecostep syringes come bulk non-sterile or sterile bioproof™, single-wrapped; they fit every Stepper generation. Two-year warranty. Cat. no. 416.5000 includes three selector buttons, adapter, and syringe samples.

Al-Shaker specifies Stepper when the method is aliquots all afternoon — ELISA plates, tubes, reagent splits — then supports the instrument. Ecostep syringes are supplied as consumables.

Features

Key features

  • 01

    Thumb stays out of it

Four-finger trigger so serial plates do not end in RSI and a drifting volume.

  • 02

    Colour-coded syringes and knobs

Yellow, blue, red — the selector and the syringe have to match before a dose leaves.

  • 03

Lock when the barrel is short

Self-locking stop refuses the last incomplete aliquot instead of delivering a surprise.
