Product overview
2X At Taq Master Mix is a concentrated PCR mixture built around the antibody-based hot-start At Taq DNA polymerase, together with reaction buffer, dNTPs and MgCl2. Only template and primers need to be added.
The hot-start design improves specificity, sensitivity and yield and reduces artefacts such as primer-dimers and mispriming, which is helpful in multiplex amplification.
