Overview

Product overview

GF-1 kits from Vivantis Technologies (Subang Jaya, Malaysia) purify nucleic acids on a specially treated glass-filter membrane in a mini spin column — no organic extraction. The GF-1 Blood DNA Extraction Kit (GF-BD-050 / GF-BD-100) yields up to 20 μg of genomic DNA from fresh or frozen anticoagulated whole blood. The GF-1 Plasmid DNA Extraction Kit (GF-PL-050 / GF-PL-100 / GF-PL-200) yields up to 20 μg of plasmid DNA; Vivantis states multiple samples process in less than 30 minutes. The GF-1 Total RNA family is published at 3–30 μg depending on sample, with GF-TR-025 / 050 / 100 pack sizes.

Tissue, plant, bacterial, and gel-recovery GF-1 sisters stay options on this family.

Al-Shaker specifies blood versus plasmid versus RNA and the first prep count, then supplies and supports the kits across Jordan, the GCC, and MENA.
