Overview

Product overview

AtTaq DNA Polymerase is a complex of a specific anti-Taq monoclonal antibody and high-quality thermostable Taq DNA polymerase. The antibody blocks enzyme activity at moderate temperatures, giving an automatic hot start.

The antibodies are thermally stable and protect against non-specific extension from room temperature up to 70 degrees C, so reactions can be assembled at room temperature. The result is fewer artefacts such as primer-dimers and mispriming, including in multiplex PCR. 10X ViBuffer S is supplied for amplicons above 5 kb.
