Overview

Product overview

Chromo MaxTaq DNA Polymerase is the colour-tracer version of MaxTaq, an optimised blend of Taq and Pfu DNA polymerases with enhancing factors. The blue and pink dyes confirm that enzyme has been added and migrate at about 4 kb and 0.3 kb on a 1% TAE agarose gel when 1 u is used per 25 ul reaction.

It amplifies up to 20 kb, tolerates wide Mg2+ and salt ranges for multiplex work, and handles GC-rich, palindromic and repetitive templates. Most products are blunt-ended with some 3' dA overhangs.
