Product overview

Chromo Taq DNA Polymerase is a thermostable Taq enzyme supplied with colour tracer dyes, so adding the polymerase to the reaction is visible and finished reactions can be loaded directly on a gel.

Using 1 u per 25 ul reaction, the blue and pink dyes run at roughly 4 kb and 0.3 kb on a 1% TAE agarose gel. 10X ViBuffer S is provided for amplicons above 5 kb, and products mostly have 3' dA overhangs for TA cloning.
