Vivantis offers five common detergents: Triton X-100 (PC0923, biotechnology grade, 500 ml x 2), Tween 20 (PC0919, 500 ml or 1 L), Tween 80 (PC0924, 1 L), CHAPS (PC0925, 5 g, ultra pure grade) and SDS (PR0611, 100 g to 1 kg, high purity grade).
CHAPS is a non-denaturing zwitterionic detergent used to solubilise proteins in isoelectric focusing and two-dimensional electrophoresis and to break protein-protein interactions. Each item has its own product page; details are listed below.
