A set of commonly used molecular-biology stock solutions supplied ready to use: 0.5 M EDTA pH 8.0 (PB0245, 500 ml), 3 M sodium acetate pH 5.2 (PB0461, 500 ml), 5 M sodium chloride (PB0570, 500 ml), 10% SDS solution (PB0640, 500 ml), 1 M sodium hydroxide (PB0750, 500 ml), 0.05 M sodium pyrophosphate buffer at pH 7.5 or 9.0 (PB0729, PB0730, 1 L) and phosphate buffer pH 4.4 (PB2004, 1 L).
EDTA, pyrophosphate and phosphate solutions are ultra pure grade, and the sodium acetate, NaCl, SDS and NaOH solutions are biotechnology grade. All are stored at room temperature.
