Overview

Product overview

Viva qGreen I Fluorescent Dye is a sensitive green fluorescent dye, equivalent to SYBR Green, for detecting double-stranded DNA. It is widely used for non-specific detection of amplification in quantitative real-time PCR by following the rise in fluorescence each cycle.

No probe is needed, which cuts set-up time and cost. Because it binds any double-stranded DNA, well-designed primers are important to avoid overestimating the target. It is stable through storage, PCR and repeated freeze-thaw, and compatible with major qPCR instruments and enzyme systems.
