Request a quoteOverview
Hollow cathode lamps are the element-specific light source in atomic absorption spectrometers. Ashtech Science offers 1.5 inch (37 mm) lamps as direct replacements for OEM lamps, covering the majority of metal elements from aluminium and arsenic to zinc and zirconium, including rare earths and precious metals.
The 37 mm range comes in three forms: standard uncoded lamps, Agilent (Varian) coded lamps that the instrument recognises automatically, and Thermo (Unicam) coded lamps. Ashtech states that the lamps are built with aligned assembly techniques and tested for line intensity and stability.
The lamps serve pharmaceutical, environmental and water, food and beverage, academic and industrial QC laboratories running trace metal analysis. Graphite furnace tubes for Agilent, GBC, PerkinElmer, Shimadzu and Thermo Scientific instruments are also available on request.
