Deuterium (D2) Lamps for HPLC and UV-Vis
Request a quoteOverview
Ashtech Science supplies deuterium (D2) lamps as drop-in replacements for the UV source in HPLC detectors and UV-Vis spectrophotometers. The range covers current detectors, including RFID-tagged lamps for Agilent VWD, DAD and 1290 modules, as well as many older instruments that are no longer well served by their original suppliers.
In 2024 the company launched its own UK-aligned lamp range. These lamps are assembled around the same bare lamps that instrument makers use, then optically aligned and tested for intensity, noise and stability, so they can replace the original part without any change to the analytical method.
For models outside the listed range, Ashtech works with lamp manufacturers in Europe, Asia and the USA, including Excelitas Noblelight and Hamamatsu, to source the required lamp. Typical users are pharmaceutical QC, environmental, food, academic and contract laboratories.
