Product overview
Ashtech Science syringe filters remove particles from samples before injection, protecting HPLC and UHPLC columns, GC inlets and LC-MS systems. Each filter has a polypropylene housing with a luer-lock inlet and female luer outlet, and is blister-packed individually.
The range covers nylon, MCE, PTFE, hydrophilic PVDF, PES, polypropylene, PET and glass fibre membranes. PTFE suits aggressive organic solvents, nylon is a general-purpose choice for aqueous and organic samples, and PES and MCE give low protein binding for biological work. Glass fibre filters with a 1.0 µm rating serve as pre-filters for heavily loaded samples.
Filters come in 4, 13, 25 and 30 mm diameters with 0.22 or 0.45 µm pores, and each membrane and pore size has its own housing colour to prevent mix-ups at the bench. Packs of 100, 500 and 1000 are listed, and sterile versions are available.
