Product overview
PerkinElmer atomic absorption spectrometers use a larger 2 inch (50 mm) lamp format. Ashtech Science supplies hollow cathode lamps in this size as cost-effective replacements for the original PerkinElmer lamps, covering a broad list of elements from aluminium to zirconium.
Two versions are listed: uncoded 9-pin lamps for instruments that do not read lamp codes, and Lumina coded lamps that newer PerkinElmer systems identify automatically. Like the 37 mm range, the lamps are described as OEM-equivalent, tested for line intensity and stability, and designed for a long working life.
They are used for trace metal work in pharmaceutical, environmental and water, food and beverage, research and industrial laboratories that run PerkinElmer AAS instruments.
