Product overview
Filtering HPLC mobile phases removes particles that would otherwise wear pump seals, block frits and shorten column life. Ashtech Science supplies vacuum filtration apparatus sets for this job, combining a funnel, filter holder and receiving flask that are assembled around a membrane disc and connected to a vacuum source.
Two sets are listed: LB3010 with a 300 mL funnel and 1 L receiver, and LB3020 with a 500 mL funnel and 2 L receiver. The holders and funnels take 47 mm and 50 mm discs, are autoclavable and chemically resistant, and are designed to be reusable and leak-free.
The apparatus pairs with Ashtech 47 mm membranes in nylon, PTFE, PVDF, PES, CA-CN and PP, so the membrane can be matched to aqueous buffers or organic solvents. Adapter kits, tubing and clamps are available to complete the setup.
