Overview

Product overview

The BWB BIO AV is derived from the BWB BIO, with dedicated hardware, software and firmware, a simplified menu structure and enhanced lithium detection. Sodium, potassium and lithium are calibrated and measured at the same time using the same dilution, anywhere from 1:6 to 1:100, which streamlines throughput in busy laboratories.

Two user-defined calibration curves can be stored, so different sample types can be measured without re-entering settings. A caesium or lithium internal reference standard is available to improve accuracy and reproducibility, and IQ/OQ/PQ certification is standard on this model.

The FP-PC software allows calibration curves to be viewed and edited and generates PDF and CSV reports, and the instrument can be set up with BWB's AFHS autosampler. An integrated printer gives hard-copy records for QA/QC where PCs are not allowed.
