Product overview
The BWB Nuclear is a specialty flame photometer designed for measuring low lithium concentrations in nuclear power stations. It was developed together with BWB's distributor in Germany and has four active lithium channels, each calibrated independently over the range of interest to raise accuracy.
All four channels are detected and displayed simultaneously, and one channel can be tied to a two-wire 4-20 mA output for SCADA systems, which makes the unit suitable for online use. With the optional collection cup, the instrument becomes a continuous real-time analyser that can run 24/7.
Data can also be shared through the FP-PC software over a network. The unit includes a built-in air compressor, a 10,000 ppm lithium standard that makes about 15 litres of 100 ppm solution, and basic labware.
