Product overview
The BWB SYN FUELS is a hybridised flame photometer for synthetic fuel and bio-fuel production facilities. It measures and displays sodium, potassium, lithium and calcium simultaneously, combining improved accuracy and stability with shorter analysis times.
Its fluid handling sections use proprietary engineered thermoplastics with PTFE tubing that are highly resistant to the solvents found in synthetic fuel plants. A collection cup is fitted as standard for live readings, and a caesium or lithium internal reference standard is available. Calcium results are corrected for high sodium interference.
BWB notes that many sugar processors use the SUGAR model in the refinery and the SYN FUELS model at the bio-conversion plant. The instrument includes a built-in air compressor, solutions and labware, USB data sharing via FP-PC and analogue or optional 4-20 mA outputs.
