Overview

Product overview

GRADIS disperses dry, free-flowing products in free fall rather than with high-energy air. A 50 cm fall shaft with a deflector plate cascade provides smooth dispersion and homogenises particle speed in front of the measuring zone, which is ideal for crystals, sand, granules and other coarse or metastable material.

It is fed by the VIBRI/L feeder and typically used with an extraction unit. The outlet slit can be set to 2, 4 or 10 mm to keep particles within the imaging working distance, and a centring unit with 1 and 0.5 mm outlets is available for very fine particles. It handles sample quantities up to the kilogram range.
