Request a quoteOverview
QICPIC is Sympatec’s high-speed dynamic image analysis sensor for particle size and particle shape. With the matching dispersing unit it covers 1 µm to 34,000 µm — far beyond what laser diffraction alone can say about elongation, agglomerates, fibres, or broken granules.
PICTOS takes the QICPIC sensor with RODOS dry dispersion into a process-rated system for in-line and on-line monitoring. Typical applications include pharmaceutical powders and granules, chemical products, food, and soil or mineral particles.
Al-Shaker helps laboratories choose QICPIC or PICTOS when shape, not only a size distribution, decides whether a batch will flow, compact, or dissolve as specified.

3 parameters
High-speed imaging reports distribution and descriptors such as aspect ratio, not a single equivalent diameter.
The same image-analysis principle on the laboratory bench and in a process-rated body.
RODOS, GRADIS, FIBROS, and wet units present particles separately so the camera sees primary particles, not undispersed lumps.
Al-Shaker specifies the configuration, documents the system, and supports it across Jordan, the GCC, and MENA.
