Request a quoteOverview
Sympatec opened dry particle measurement in 1982 with RODOS, the compressed-air free-jet disperser. No other dry method is as powerful across the submicron-to-millimetre range while remaining gentle enough for the product: typically below 0.1 µm to 4,000 µm, jet velocities up to 100 m/s, and sample masses from under 1 mg to 1,500 g.
GRADIS uses gravity for coarser, more fragile granules from 10 µm to 10,000 µm. FIBROS presents fibres (about 500 µm to 30,000 µm length) so QICPIC can measure length and diameter instead of a meaningless equivalent sphere.
These units couple to HELOS and QICPIC (and to process systems such as MYTOS and PICTOS). Al-Shaker specifies the disperser with the sensor so dry powders, granules, and fibres are measured as they should be — dry.
Specifications
3 parameters
Compressed-air dispersion from submicron powders to millimetre granules, from milligrams to more than a kilogram of sample.
Gentle gravity dispersing for coarser, fragile granules that a high-velocity jet would break.
Dedicated fibre presentation so image analysis sees length and diameter, not a tangled pad.
Al-Shaker specifies the configuration, documents the system, and supports it across Jordan, the GCC, and MENA.
