Sympatec GmbH develops, manufactures, and supports instruments for particle size and shape analysis from its headquarters at Pulverhaus in Clausthal-Zellerfeld, Germany. Founded in 1984 as the first spin-off of Clausthal Technical University, it is privately owned and still manufactures in Germany.
The company pioneered dry dispersion: RODOS, as early as 1982, made it possible to measure powders, fibres, and granules dry — product-appropriate — with both laser diffraction and dynamic image analysis, from the submicron to the millimetre range.
The sensor families are HELOS and MYTOS (laser diffraction), QICPIC and PICTOS (dynamic image analysis), NANOPHOX (dynamic light scattering / PCCS), and NIMBUS and OPUS (ultrasonic extinction), with matching dry and wet dispersing units and PAQXOS application software.
Al-Shaker represents Sympatec for laboratories and process plants across Jordan, the GCC, and MENA. We specify the sensor and disperser to the product, then install, train, and support the system through its working life.
