Galaxy Scientific designs and manufactures high-performance, rugged, portable Fourier-transform near-infrared (FT-NIR) spectrometers in the United States. Its sole focus is NIR — for food, feed, forage, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, chemicals and polymers, and related QC.
The QuasIR series uses PermAlign interferometer optics so instruments stay aligned under routine and extreme conditions. That is what makes direct calibration transfer practical: a method built on one QuasIR can run on another without a painful standardisation project. Models cover liquids (QuasIR 1000), solids (QuasIR 3000), both in one chassis (QuasIR 4000), fiber-optic point-of-need work (QuasIR 2000), and continuous on-line measurement (QuasIR 2000E).
Spectral Sage software combines everyday analysis with tools for method developers. An Automatic Performance Testing Unit watches the spectrometer. Typical ownership costs stay low: solid-state laser (typical life over ten years), compact lamp (~20,000 hours), wear-free interferometer drive with a 10-year warranty, and user-replaceable desiccant.
Al-Shaker represents Galaxy Scientific across Jordan, the GCC, and MENA. We specify the QuasIR to the sample — liquid, solid, probe, or process head — then install, train, and support it.
