Overview

Product overview

The QuasIR 1000 is Galaxy Scientific’s FT-NIR for liquid analysis. A transmission chamber holds cuvettes and glass vials up to 10 mm path length. Optional temperature control heats the compartment to 100 °C or cools it to 20 °C, covering edible oils, lubricants, fuels, beverages, and similar QC or adulteration work.

Like the rest of the QuasIR family it uses PermAlign optics so methods transfer from one instrument to another without a standardisation project. Spectral Sage software and an Automatic Performance Testing Unit support routine use. The chassis is compact and portable for lab, process, or field work, with the same long-life laser, lamp, and wear-free interferometer drive as the rest of the series.

Al-Shaker supplies the QuasIR 1000 where the laboratory’s NIR work is liquids first — and can step up to a QuasIR 4000 later if solids need the same platform.
