The QuasIR 4000 is Galaxy Scientific’s most popular FT-NIR spectrometer. It combines the transmission chamber of the QuasIR 1000 with the large-area integrating sphere of the QuasIR 3000, so one portable instrument covers liquids, solids, and pastes — in the laboratory, at the line, or in the field.
The heart of the system is PermAlign optics: a Fourier-transform design that stays aligned under routine and extreme conditions, so calibrations transfer from one QuasIR to another without re-standardising the fleet. The integrating sphere uses a 23 mm sampling area (up to five times larger than many competing NIR analysers) with a scratch-resistant sapphire window. An optional sample spinner handles inhomogeneous solids. The transmission chamber accepts cuvettes and vials, with optional temperature control for liquids.
Spectral Sage software covers everyday QC and advanced method development. An Automatic Performance Testing Unit monitors the instrument. Typical ownership costs stay low: a temperature-stabilised solid-state laser (typical lifetime over ten years), a compact lamp rated around 20,000 hours, a wear-free interferometer drive with a 10-year warranty, and a user-replaceable desiccant.
Al-Shaker specifies, supplies, and supports the QuasIR 4000 for food, feed, pharmaceutical, and research laboratories across Jordan, the GCC, and MENA.

Integrating sphere and temperature-optional transmission chamber, so the laboratory is not forced to buy two NIR platforms.
A larger spot and sampling volume than typical compact NIR, with a sapphire window and optional spinner for inhomogeneous samples.
PermAlign optics keep wavelength and photometric consistency so a QuasIR fleet can share methods.
Al-Shaker specifies the configuration, documents the system, and supports it across Jordan, the GCC, and MENA.
