Sympatec Ultrasonic Extinction Systems
Request a quoteOverview
Ultrasonic extinction measures particle size and concentration in liquid-dispersed systems that are often too concentrated, opaque, or abrasive for optical methods. NIMBUS is the laboratory analyser for typical 300–1,000 ml samples. OPUS is the process probe (IP65, ATEX options) for in-line and on-line control.
The family covers below 0.1 µm to 3,000 µm in suspensions, emulsions, and slurries — including mineral, chemical, and food processes where dilution would destroy the information you need.
Al-Shaker specifies NIMBUS for the laboratory and OPUS for the plant when optical diffraction cannot see through the product as it actually is.

3 parameters
Ultrasonic extinction reports both the size distribution and the solids loading of the suspension or emulsion.
Benchtop analysis of 300–1,000 ml samples without forcing an optical path through an opaque slurry.
In-line / on-line probe with IP65 protection and ATEX options for classified plants.
Al-Shaker specifies the configuration, documents the system, and supports it across Jordan, the GCC, and MENA.
