MIXER static secondary sampler
Request a quoteOverview
MIXER collects homogeneous, representative analysis samples from processes with high mass flows of dry, relatively narrowly distributed bulk solids, such as cement or anode coke grinding. In two-stage sampling, a screw or air slide sampler first branches a partial stream of typically 30 to 50 kg/h, and MIXER then reduces it to a few grams (about 2 to 5 g for cement) suitable for laser diffraction.
Product in a 60 mm pipe is randomly mixed through four offset bar gratings, and a static probe in the centre extracts the sample. Five probe-tip inlet sizes from 1.5 to 2.5 mm adjust the sample amount, a pneumatic oscillator keeps product moving and dedusts, and an integrated blow-back device keeps the system clean and allows particle-free reference measurements.
