Overview

Product overview

SCREWSAMPLER is suited to dry, powdery products with restricted flowability due to adhesive or cohesive properties, where a representative sample from the usually inhomogeneous downpipe flow requires a cross-section of the process line.

With an installation height of only 30 mm, it is integrated in the downpipe through a DN25 weld-on stud and clamp connection. The screw immersion depth is adjusted from 200 to 300 mm to suit the line cross-section, and openings in the collection tube give a representative cross-section. Screw speed and run time are software-controlled according to the optical concentration set for the sensor, and the sample is conveyed in a tube by the vacuum of the integrated RODOS dispersion in MYTOS. It covers particles from 0.25 to 1,750 µm at 1 to 1,000 kg/h.
