Product overview
SMACTOR with universal rack is a versatile adapter for measuring particle and droplet size distributions of many bottle types with the HELOS/KR-Vario laser diffraction sensor. As results depend on force and path-velocity behaviour, the spraying process must be reproducible.
The SMACTOR actuator supports both stroke-acceleration and force-controlled actuation and simulates manual release, with adjustable acceleration, maximum velocity, stroke length, maximum force and rise time. A spring-loaded universal rack adapts to MDI, pump or propellant gas bottles in free experimental set-ups in the HELOS/KR-Vario. The process is controlled and monitored by software, and the spray can be evaluated in four monitoring modes.
